Relationship: J and Harley are best friends!! They do just about everything together! Unlike most canons, JOKER AND HARLEY ARE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP AND JOKER WOULD NEVER INTENTIONALLY HURT HIS BEST FRIEND!!! They’ve been through a LOT together and they wouldn’t trade each other for the world! They did meet in Arkham and Harley was a doctor, but it was not anywhere near as toxic as the source material. They simply became genuine friends and J introduced Harley to the wonderful world of Be Gay Do Crime But Also Clown.

Fun Fact: J and Harls share makeup all the time! They also have matching tattoos!

Relationship: J and Pam met through Harls. At first J was kind of anxious that Ivy was going to take his place as her best friend, but he soon realized that they were just in lesbians with each other (what a relief)! J quickly grew to love her as soon as he knew she wasn’t a threat to his title as The Best Friend Forever.

Fun Fact: Jack and Pam wear similar shades of red lipstick, so J always steals an extra for her.

Relationship: J and Eds are roommates! They live in a somewhat shady apartment complex. They’re definitely best friends. They’ve lived together for a few years and they’ve loved every minute of it! Well... Maybe not that time they almost caught their kitchen on fire trying to bake... The boys met for the first time during a robbery. They accidentally met because they both planned to rob the same place at the same time. Mayhaps it was fate?

Fun Fact: They share clothes sometimes because they both wear so much purple and green.

Nickname(s): Oz, Ozzie, Penman, Pipsqueak, Shawty (or Shorty or whatever you want ok that’s the fucking gucci gang shi-)

Relationship: J met Oz through Eddie. The two of them worked together multiple times which eventually led to them becoming friends. Jack, of course, had to meet this guy that his roomie was talking about! When he met him, he absolutely adored the little guy. Oz quickly became part of the squad.

Fun Fact: J likes to rest his arms on Oz’s head (short king mama ay-).

Nickname(s): Harv, Dent, Double Trouble, Half ‘n Half, Sweet ‘n Sour, Dos (yes, 2 in Spanish-)

Relationship: Jack and Harvey get along surprisingly well. Harvey is bi (wow, shocker, right?) just like Jack, so that gave them a kind of starting point for their relationship. J loves helping Harvey make his suits. He can’t really sew, but he helps with fabrics and patterns (and bedazzling, if necessary).

Fun Fact: Jack has one of Harvey’s campaign buttons on one of his jackets.

Relationship: J and Kitty are friends... Kind of? They have plenty of mutual friends (or are they just acquaintances to her?) so they see each other/hang out quite a bit. They get along well enough... But J has a crush on Selina’s... Boyfriend? Enemy with benefits? What are they?! J isn’t quite sure, but he’s definitely a bit jealous.

Fun Fact: Selina gave Jack acrylic nails once... He struggled with literally everything because they were too long for him.

This canon/version of the Joker is very heavily inspired by (and a mix of) the White Knight comics, the Lego Batman Movie, and @ask-jokeboi on Tumblr. Those are my absolute favorite versions of J and combining all of those into one thing creates my ideal version of my favorite clown dude!

Harley and Ivy are dating and they live in an apartment together.

Riddler and Penguin either are dating or dated at some point (if this is the case, they are still close friends).

Harley has her babies Bud and Lou! Not sure how they snuck hyenas into an apartment, but they sure did!

None of the Robins are around in this canon, but there is a slight branch off of this canon where Dick Grayson is Robin and he is still very young (think Lego Batman Movie).

Gotham City is a very dark place in terms of colors. Very muted. Kinda how some cartoons make NYC look if that makes sense?? But the wonderful villains are very bright and colorful so they stand out!

Batsy and Kitty are kinda flirty, but not exactly dating. J still calls him her "boy toy" or "boyfriend" but only because he's jealous...
